You can listen to Spotify on an Echo device as long as you pay for a Spotify Premium subscription, which costs $9.99 per month. Here's how to connect a few specific music apps. Once you're connected, you can ask Alexa to play music ("Alexa, play Kelly Clarkson") or open a music-streaming app and select your Echo as the destination to start listening. From the app, open More > Settings > Music & Podcasts to see Amazon Music listed there by default you may see other services too.
